Rex's Party Rentals | West Texas Weather & Cancellation Policy
Operating in the West Texas climate requires a clear focus on safety and asset protection [BCN-Local]. To ensure total safety for your guests and maintain the premium condition of our commercial-grade equipment, Rex's Party Rentals enforces the following iron-clad weather and booking parameters:
💨 WEST TEXAS WIND THRESHOLDS:
  • Frame & High Peak Tents: Our professional, high peak frame tents are heavy-duty and wind-rated [BCN-Local]. However, if sustained regional winds or sudden gusts are forecasted to exceed safe structural limits on your event date, setups may be delayed or rescheduled entirely at our discretion.
  • 10 x 20 Self-Serve Pop Up Tents: Per our mandatory customer policy, the renter is strictly responsible for collapsing and taking down pop-up canopies immediately if local wind speeds exceed 17 mph.
  • Patio Heaters: Per strict fire marshal regulation, patio heaters CANNOT be placed inside or underneath tents [BCN-Local]. They must be operated exclusively in wide-open, un-covered outdoor spaces and are not to be used during high wind alerts.
🌧️ RAIN & SEVERE WEATHER PROTOCOLS:
In the event of forecasted severe downpours, lightning storms, or extreme West Texas dust tracking, our delivery team will coordinate closely with you to adjust drop-off schedules or pivot layouts to indoor or covered spaces where safety permits.
📋 CANCELLATION & RESERVATION BOOKING FEES:
Because our premium inventory is strictly reserved for your specific date—preventing other clients from booking those assets—all booking fees are strictly non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation due to severe weather, your non-refundable booking fee can be credited toward a rescheduled event date within the same calendar year. [1]
